Ravens' Gus Edwards clears concussion protocol
Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards has cleared the concussion protocol, per head coach John Harbaugh.
Edwards left last Sunday's game early to be evaluated for a concussion, but he's on track to play in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns. Justice Hill is still bothered by a foot injury that sidelined him last week, so Edwards could be the Ravens' lead back again. Melvin Gordon will likely be the primary backup to Edwards if Hill is out.
The Ravens' run game will have a tough matchup in Week 4 against the Browns and their second-best adjusted run defense in the league, according to numberFire’s metrics. Our models project Edwards ($5,900) for 5.2 FanDuel points on Sunday, with 7.8 carries and 38.8 rushing yards.
