Greg Dulcich (hamstring, IR) expected to play Thursday for Broncos
Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring, injured reserve) is expected to play on Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6, reports Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Dulcich is set to return for the first time since injuring his hamstring in Week 1 and landing on IR. Fowler said it remains to be seen if Dulcich will be on a snap count Thursday, but Russell Wilson should benefit from having another talented pass-catcher. Adam Trautman and Chris Manhertz will be less involved moving forward.
The Chiefs are 17th in FanDuel points allowed per game to tight ends this season, but their pass defense ranks 11th in numberFire's opponent-adjusted NEP model. Dulcich has a $7,500 salary on the single-game slate and our metrics project him for 2.9 targets. Trautman played 86.7% of the snaps but earned just 7.8% of the targets while Dulcich was out.
