Kyren Williams (ankle) expected to miss multiple Rams games
Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams (ankle) is expected to miss multiple games, reports Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
According to Fowler, Williams should be back no later than Week 11. Ronnie Rivers (knee) is also expected to miss multiple games, so Zach Evans will take over as the Rams' lead back. His first start will be on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Rams also promoted Royce Freeman from the practice squad and signed Myles Gaskin off the Minnesota Vikings practice squad.
Evans is the RB19 in numberFire's Week 7 rankings and our models project him for 9.8 FanDuel points, 13.5 carries, 53.5 rushing yards, 1.3 receptions, and 9.3 receiving yards. The Rams have the second-ranked adjusted run offense in the NFL, according to numberFire’s metrics, while the Steelers are ranked sixth-worst against the run and allow the seventh-most FanDuel points per game to running backs.
