Eagles' Dallas Goedert dealing with groin injury
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (groin) was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough practice for Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins.
Goedert logged a season-low 77 percent snap rate on Sunday and caught 5 passes on 8 targets for 42 yards. He should be fine for Sunday night's matchup, but Goedert might be playing at less than full strength and the Eagles added Julio Jones to the roster this week. Goedert has failed to reach 50 yards or score a touchdown in five of six games this season.
Goedert is the TE5 in numberFire's Week 7 PPR rankings and our models project him for 8.8 FanDuel points, with 6.2 targets, 4.3 receptions, and 48.2 receiving yards. The Dolphins are No. 20 in FanDuel points allowed per game to tight ends and their pass defense is No. 21 in numberFire’s opponent-adjusted NEP model.
