Alvin Kamara (illness) returns to full Saints practice Thursday
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (illness) practiced in full on Thursday for Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Kamara returned after sitting out the first practice of the week with an illness. Despite missing three games, Kamara is tied with Josh Jacobs for the league-lead in running back targets (39). He's also averaging 26.0 touches and 109.5 yards from scrimmage per contest. Kamara should carry the load again on Sunday versus the Colts.
Kamara ($8,300) is the RB2 in numberFire's Week 8 PPR rankings and our models project him for 17.4 FanDuel points, with 16.8 rush attempts, 70.2 rushing yards, 4.7 receptions, and 33.4 receiving yards. The Colts are allowing the fifth-most FanDuel points per game to running backs this season, but per numberFire's opponent-adjusted NEP rankings, their run defense is 11th in the league.
