Michael Thomas (illness) upgraded Thursday for Saints
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (illness) practiced in full on Thursday for Week 9 against the Chicago Bears.
Thomas was upgraded from a limited session on Wednesday. He played through an illness on Sunday and caught 4 passes on 7 targets for 68 yards, but his 67 percent offensive snap rate was a season-low. It sounds like Thomas has fully recovered and should be back to a full workload on Sunday.
Thomas is the WR30 in numberFire's Week 9 PPR rankings and our models project him for 9.2 FanDuel points, 6.6 targets, 4.6 receptions, and 51.6 yards. The Bears are ranked 19th in FanDuel points allowed per game to wide receivers and their pass defense is last in our opponent-adjusted NEP model.
