De'Von Achane (toe) returns to practice Thursday for Dolphins
Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane (toe) returned to practice on Thursday for Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Achane made it back out to the practice field after being held out on Wednesday due to a toe injury. Raheem Mostert is expected to play through an ankle injury on Sunday and could be limited, so Achane may benefit from additional touches. He out-snapped Mostert 35-19 last week, but Achane only saw 8 touches and gained 33 yards. Jeff Wilson could see an uptick in usage while Achane and Mostert are less than 100 percent.
Achane is the RB34 in numberFire's Week 17 rankings and our models project him for 9.0 FanDuel points, with 7.7 carries, 34.7 rushing yards, 2.9 receptions, and 21.3 receiving yards. The Ravens are allowing the sixth-fewest FanDuel points per game to running backs this season and they have the No. 12 run defense in the NFL, according to our opponent-adjusted efficiency metrics.
