Jacoby Brissett (hamstring) ruled out for Commanders in Week 17; Sam Howell to start
Washington Commanders quarterback Jacoby Brissett will not play Sunday in the team's Week 17 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Brissett entered the weekend with a questionable tag. Now, after evaluating the veteran through pregame warmups, the team has decided to make him inactive. It'll be Sam Howell who returns to a starting role under center, and Jake Fromm will serve as the backup.
Our models project Howell for 229.1 passing yards, 1.1 touchdowns, 0.9 interceptions and 14.6 FanDuel points.
