Lions' Jameson Williams (ankle) expected to return for Wild Card game Sunday
Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Monday that wide receiver Jameson Williams (ankle) will return to practice this week and will be expected to play in the team's Wild Card Round game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Williams did not play in the Lions' final game of the regular season, but it seems like the team was just being cautious with the second-year wideout's health. The team is expecting him to return to practice this week and to play come Sunday as they gear up for a matchup with the Rams.
Williams was not a heavily featured part of the Lions' offense this year, but is able to generate fantasy points efficiently on limited volume due to his speed. Our model currently projects him for 2 catches, 26.3 yards, and 0.2 scores for 4.9 fantasy points against the Rams.
