Dolphins optimistic Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle) plays Saturday
Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel is optimistic running back Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle) will be able to play in the Wild Card Round versus the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday night.
Mostert missed the final two games of the regular season, but he should be able to return for Saturday's first-round visit to Kansas City. The Dolphins will likely split most of the running back work between Mostert and rookie De'Von Achane, with Jeff Wilson sprinkled in as well.
numberFire's models project Mostert for 12.8 touches and 9.8 FanDuel points in the Wild Card Round. Achane is projected for 13.6 touches and 10.8 FanDuel points. The Chiefs allowed the ninth-fewest FanDuel points to running backs this season, but their run defense finished 26th in our opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings.
