New Jersey Devils

Players to target: Taylor Hall, Travis Zajac, and Kyle Palmieri

The other side of the Flames game also deserves consideration for a tournament stack. The Flames-Devils showdown has the lowest overall total, making a game stack a high-risk, high-reward strategy that could win a tournament.

This line has solid possession stats on an otherwise poor possession team. They own a 58 Corsi For per 60 minutes, 54.8 Corsi For Percentage, and 76 Scoring Chances For Percentage. For the majority of their ice time, they'll matchup against a talented offensive line in John Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, and Troy Brouwer.

However, Monahan's line does allow 58.4 Corsi Against per 60 minutes so they are vulnerable on the defensive end.

Taylor Hall has slowed down in the last month, scoring only 7 points in his last 13 games. He has not had a multi-point performance since January 2, but that could change tonight -- the Flames have committed the most penalties in the NHL this season. Hall, Zajac, and Palmieri will all play on the top power play unit for the Devils, giving them extra chances to light the lamp against Brian Elliott, who struggles against high danger shots (77.8 High Danger Save Percentage).
