3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 2/7/17
Washington Capitals
Players to target: Marcus Johansson, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Justin Williams
The first line for the Washington Capitals will draw a lot of interest in DFS tournaments tonight, but they will have their hands full most of the night facing Jeff Skinner and the Carolina Hurricanes' top line. That brings us to the Caps' second line. Kuznetsov has looked unstoppable in his last five games, posting seven (real-life) points while scoring four goals.
Kuznetsov's line has posted 54.2 Corsi For per 60 minutes along with 10.7 scoring chances for per 60 minutes. They should spend the majority of their ice time against Carolina's second line, which is centered by Jordan Staal. Staal's new line has not been a great possession line with only a 48.8% Corsi For Percentage, and they are allowing 9.2 scoring chances against per 60 minutes.
Kuznetsov and company should have an advantage at even strength, and they will all see power play minutes (Kuznetsov and Williams on the second unit, with Johansson on first). This line is still underpriced on FanDuel and gives you a chance to double-stack with a chalkier play.
