NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Thursday 10/20/16
A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?
It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel.com, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.
To help, take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.
Goalies to Target
Devan Dubnyk ($8,200): At -185 on the moneyline, the Minnesota Wild are the second-biggest favorites on tonight's 11-game slate, Our projections give Dubnyk a 59% chance of recording a win -- immediately creating some fantasy appeal with 21 goalies are priced ahead of Dubnyk on FanDuel. He has had a bit of a rough start to the season, but with a .918 save percentage last year and a .929 save percentage the year before, there's no reason to be too concerned. Dubnyk is also likely to see a high volume of shots -- giving his ceiling a nice boost -- as he takes on a Toronto Maple Leafs team that ranks second in the NHL in Corsi For per game to start the year after finishing third in Corsi For last season.
