David de Gea, Goalie, Manchester United

Salary: $5,500

De Gea is tied with Chelsea’s Kepa as the fourth-highest priced player at his position, and he has averaged 10.61 FanDuel points this season. In his three matches this season against clubs currently in the top-five, de Gea has averaged 1.33 FanDuel points per outing while scoring negative points in two of the three matches.

Per oddsmakers, United have a 41.7% chance to win Wednesday’s match, and the Gunners have a 81.5% chance of scoring at least one goal, a feat they have accomplished in all but one match this season -- Matchweek 1 against Manchester City at home.

If the Gunners -- who have scored the second-most goals this season -- are able to find the back of the net against the Red Devils, a club that has allowed the sixth-most goals, including at least one goal in all but one match at Old Trafford this season, de Gea’s upside would likely be extremely limited as Arsenal have forced the 10th-fewest saves (43) to opposing keepers this season.

With FanDuel's scoring system, DFS players need to attack keepers who will hopefully produce a clean-sheet win or find a keeper who should see a large amount of save opportunities. Liverpool’s Alisson ($6,500) offers nice clean-sheet victory odds with de Gea likely to see more save opportunities while Leicester’s Kasper Schmeichel ($5,000) isn't in a bad spot and offers some salary relief from the top-priced keepers on the slate.
