David De Gea, Goalie, Manchester United

FanDuel Price: $6,500

Simply put, Bernd Leno ($4,500) is priced way too cheap given Arsenal's win odds (79.6%) and their clean-sheet chances (Huddersfield carry a slate-worst 0.75-goal implied total). Leno is going to be the chalk play in goal, and his bargain-bin price frees up precious coin for elsewhere.

Given the makeup of the slate, paying up at keeper shouldn't be a popular option, which puts De Gea on the GPP radar.

De Gea is a world-class goalie, but United have been a wreck defensively this season, allowing 25 goals through 15 league matches. The Red Devils gave up 28 goals all of last season (38 matches).

Last-place Fulham have a 1.25-goal implied total at Old Trafford -- which speaks volumes about the current state of United's back line -- and while that clearly dings De Gea's clean-sheet odds, it also means he should be asked to make a decent amount of saves, helping his floor. And De Gea has a great shot at a win, with United boasting 75.6% implied win odds. A win plus a few saves makes for a decent fantasy day.

In GPPs, though, you're aiming for more than decent, especially when paying for the slate's most expensive keeper. While oddsmakers don't consider a clean sheet likely, we can't totally write it off here for the Spaniard. Across all competitions, Fulham have been blanked in each of their last three road matches against top sides (2-0 losses at Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool), and De Gea's ability gives him a chance to put in a top-class display against anyone.

No one will blame you for opting for Leno, especially in head-to-head or small-field contests, but De Gea could be a sneaky-good play in GPPs.
