As expected, Bennett and Cardiff City struggled against Liverpool last week. Before Cardiff were outmatched by one of the best teams in the league, Bennett had been on a steady climb in FanDuel points for three matchweeks. He had his third-best game of the year in the previous game against Brighton, scoring 18 points due in part to drawing three fouls.

Bennett's points come almost exclusively from defensive actions. Bennett has recorded at least three clearances in each of the past three matches. In the match against Brighton, he added four interceptions and three tackles. His only real offensive contribution is drawing fouls, having done so at least once in 11 of his last 14 matches.

Cardiff have won their last three outings against Fulham, including a 4-2 win earlier this season. Bennett was second on the team in touches and had four key passes in that match. They desparately need a win to keep their Premier League hopes alive.
