Russell Martin, C, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $2,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Similar to his teammate Saunders, Russell Martin will lose ownership due to Toronto's low implied total. When you factor in the likelihood that both Wilson Ramos and Jonathan Lucroy both demand attention with the two highest implied team totals on the slate, it seems very unlikely that Martin is a popular option, even at a discounted price tag.

Why You Should Use Him:

Martin has turned his season around after a horribly slow start to the season, most recently blasting homers in back to back games. Given the amount of homers Chad Green has seen launched off of him this season, Martin has a decent chance to make it three games in a row tonight.

Martin has hit slightly better against lefties in his career, but his numbers against right-handed pitching is certainly playable. He's actually posted a higher wOBA, ISO, and slugging percentage against righties this season.

Ramos is a much more appealing cash game option, but Martin is worth a look in tournaments. His discounted price and ownership make him one of the most intriguing tournament players on tonight's slate.
