The New York Yankees are at home tonight, hosting R.A. Dickey and the Toronto Blue Jays, which makes this a very good spot for Yankees hitters, particularly the lefties.

Dickey is sporting a 4.61 ERA and 4.79 SIERA on the season, both of which are his worst marks since 2008, while his 1.64 home runs per nine are his worst in his career if we only look at seasons in which he played in at least five games.

He has been especially bad against left-handed hitters, with a .349 wOBA and 5.17 xFIP, and that makes this a great matchup for Brian McCann.

McCann has hit right-handed pitching well over his career, slashing .269/.348/.471 with a .351 wOBA and .202 ISO. He still has plenty of pop against righties, with a 35.3% hard-hit rate and 47.4% fly ball rate on the season, and he has big upside against Dickey tonight.
