If you're not targeting the Mariners' sticks, the Toronto Blue Jays are waiting with open arms. They get a home matchup with Jered Weaver in what has the makings of a nice day to be a Blue Jays righty. If only Jose Bautista was healthy. (Update: Bautista has been activated and is hitting leadoff).

Weaver owns a minuscule 9.2% strikeout rate on the road this season, and he is pitching to an unsightly 6.72 xFIP away from home. Despite being right-handed, Weaver is getting destroyed by righties, who have gotten to him for a 40.0% hard-hit rate and 51.3% fly-ball rate. You may want to check your pulse if that doesn't get you excited.

Edwin Encarnacion fares slightly better against southpaws, but he's no slouch against right-handers. Encarnacion owns a 35.5% hard-hit rate and 40.8% fly-ball rate versus righties. At the Rogers Centre this season, he's posted a .410 wOBA, 39.1% hard-hit rate, and 43.6% fly-ball rate.
