Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The Nationals will square off at home versus Phillies' rookie Jake Thompson. While the sample size is small, in 19.1 innings pitched in 2016, Thompson has recorded a 5.92 SIERA and 2.33 home runs per nine innings pitched. With reigning NL MVP Bryce Harper starting to heat up and Daniel Murphy continuing to tear the cover off the ball, Jayson Werth may end up being owned less than he should be.

Why You Should Use Him:

What may continue to get ignored is Werth's recent run of production. Over his last 10 games, he's averaging 11.5 fantasy points per game, and due to a big weekend, he's hiked that up to 18.75 fantasy points per game over his last four games.

Expect Werth to build off of his torrid August (.895 OPS and .272 ISO) on Monday evening.
