Minnesota Twins' lefty Pat Dean is making his eighth career start today, and the Cleveland Indians will welcome him with open arms.

Dean owns a 4.47 SIERA, a 17.7% strikeout rate, and a 7.4% walk rate. His 6.3% swinging-strike rate tells us he's probably a little fortunate his strikeout rate isn't lower, and Dean put up just a 12.6% strikeout rate this year in 87 1/3 innings in Triple-A.

Cleveland's right-handed sticks are especially in play as Dean has given up a .410 wOBA with a 37.0% hard-hit rate and 40.2% fly-ball rate to righties. This is where Mike Napoli comes in.

Napoli has rocked southpaws this year. He boasts a .376 wOBA, a 47.8% hard-hit rate, and a 44.4% fly-ball rate against lefties. Cleveland's implied total of 4.99 is the third-highest of the slate, and Napoli could play a key role in any offensive explosion.
