Andrew Cashner has been a great pitcher to target left-handed hitters against this season. While his overall numbers have been rough over the past two seasons, with a 4.34 ERA and 4.00 SIERA in 2015 and a 4.77 ERA and 4.61 SIERA this year, lefties have given him an especially hard time.

He is allowing a huge .360 wOBA with a 4.73 xFIP on a 41.4% hard-hit rate against left-handed bats this year, numbers that are actually a slight improvement from his .383 wOBA and 4.95 xFIP from last season.

Nick Markakis has been decent against righties this year, slashing .276/.356/.419 with a .333 wOBA. He has a career .352 wOBA and 30.9% hard-hit rate against righties, and he should thrive against Cashner tonight.
