Among all qualified starting pitchers, Danny Duffy ranks in the top 10 in strikeout rate (26.7%), walk rate (5.1%), and SIERA (3.38). His breakout campaign has been no fluke. Duffy has been on fire through his first two starts this month, posting a 33.3% strikeout rate and 1.9% walk rate in September.

He takes those numbers into tonight's home matchup with the Oakland Athletics. Oakland has the fourth-lowest strikeout rate (18.7%), but the A's also rank 28th in wOBA (.300) while they have a 21.8% strikeout rate over the last 30 days.
