Tim Anderson, SS, Chicago White Sox

Tim Anderson hasn't been having an overly impressive rookie season, but through a 77-plate-appearance sample against left-handed pitchers, his production has been outstanding. Against southpaws, Anderson is slashing .347/.355/.507 with a .367 wOBA and 38.9% hard-hit rate.

The Chicago White Sox have a solid 4.57 implied total for their clash with lefty Jason Vargas.

It will be Vargas' first MLB game since he underwent Tommy John surgery in July 2015, and he didn't have much success in his minor league rehab starts, pitching to a 5.93 ERA and 4.16 FIP in three Triple-A outings.

Vargas also has never had a ton of success at the major league level. In his last two seasons, he has posted a 4.14 SIERA and 16.2% strikeout rate in 2014 and 4.70 SIERA and 14.8% strikeout rate in 2015.
