Jeff Samardzija is our top-ranked pitcher for his home matchup with the Colorado Rockies. Vegas is a big fan of the San Francisco Giants' righty, sticking the Rockies with a 3.26 implied total, the lowest of the day.

A lot of that has to do with the venue. AT&T Park is about as far away, in terms of a run-scoring environment, as possible from Coors. The Giants' home grounds ranks 28th in park factor and 30th in home run factor.

Colorado's overall numbers look good, but they're a different -- much worse -- offense away from home. On the road, the Rockies rank 25th in wOBA (.304) and 4th in strikeout rate (23.7%).

Samardzija is in the midst of his best stretch of the season. Through 30 2/3 innings this month, he owns a 25.2% strikeout rate while giving up hard contact just 28.9% of the time.
