Miguel Rojas, SS, Miami Marlins

FanDuel Price: $2,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

When lining up your picks at the shortstop position, it's hard to ignore superstar Corey Seager, who's averaged a cool 13.7 fantasy points per game so far this year. Even with a tough matchup against John Lackey and the Chicago Cubs, he should see a lot of attention.

One option who shouldn't see a ton of ownership is minimum-priced Miguel Rojas, who has a few big negatives working against him. First and foremost, his career 24.5% fly-ball rate isn't very attractive and he will also be hitting at Marlins Park, which ranks 29th in home run factor over the past three seasons.

Why You Should Use Him:

Over his career, Atlanta Braves starter Jaime Garcia has exhibited pretty even platoon splits, allowing a .308 wOBA to lefties (.308 wOBA) and a .306 wOBA to righties (.306 wOBA). A closer look at recent platoon splits, however, reveals a decided advantage for right-handed batters.

In 2016, righties posted a .342 wOBA, a healthy increase over the .301 wOBA lefties rang up. In addition, Garcia's hard-hit rate allowed also jumps up from 25.2% versus lefties to 32.6% against righties.

Rojas, a versatile defender who logged time at four different positions in 2016, could be a sneaky play on the slate.
