Carlos Santana had a career-high 34 home runs and .239 ISO last year, but hasn't shown the same prowess so far in 2017, with just three homers.

The good news is he has a 7.1% HR/FB rate, which should positively regress given his 13.9% career rate. Couple that with his low 41.8% ground-ball rate, and the balls should find their way over the fence eventually.

But at his salary, we're not getting any sort of discount, and his matchup against Marcus Stroman is mediocre at best. Stroman may not have a high strikeout rate (18.6%), but he has an elite ground-ball rate (60.5%).

Santana possesses the coveted leadoff spot atop a strong Cleveland Indians lineup, and only has a 9.9% strikeout rate. He still has a very good floor, but he's unlikely to go off, and there are spots with more value and upside elsewhere.
