Kendrys Morales hasn't been especially productive in his first season with the Toronto Blue Jays, but he has been making some promising contact, with a 36.7% hard-hit rate. He has been hitting the ball especially well recently, ranking eighth in average exit velocity over the past 15 days.

He brings that into a good matchup against Milwaukee Brewers righty Jimmy Nelson, whose 4.12 SIERA through eight starts brings his career average to 4.36 in five major league seasons. His batted ball profile against left-handed hitters has been really concerning this season, with a 37.5% hard-hit rate, 10.9% soft-hit rate and 44.4% fly-ball rate.

This matchup gives Morales a good chance to turn his impressive contact numbers into some nice production.
