Zack Greinke has been absolutely deadly in 2017, erasing any concerns about the down year he had in 2016.

He's sporting a strong 3.01 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA), his 29.7% strikeout rate and 14.7% swinging strike rate are both on pace to be career-highs, and both rank top-five among qualifying pitchers this season.

He brings those numbers into a strong matchup, taking on a San Diego Padres team that ranks only 27th in wRC+ against right-handed pitching, while also striking out against righties at the second-highest rate in the majors (25.8%).
