Adrian Gonzalez' production has been flat-out ugly in 2017, with a career-low .279 wOBA, though his batted-ball profile against right-handed pitching has been fine, with a 31.8% hard-hit rate, 15.0% soft-hit rate and 38.3% fly-ball rate. He has been making especially solid contact lately, ranking 83rd in exit velocity and 35th in batted-ball distance this month.

Zack Wheeler has a 4.56 SIERA while getting tagged for a huge 42.1% hard-hit rate to left-handed sticks on the year, and this is a good spot for Gonzalez to turn his contact numbers into production.
