Carlos Santana, 1B, Cleveland Indians

FanDuel Price: $3,000

Despite his depressed salary, it's still tough to recommend using Carlos Santana. Following a 2016 in which Santana slugged a career-high 34 bombs, he hasn't shown the same home run prowess this year with 9 round-trippers and a modest .159 isolated power (ISO).

Opposing pitcher Cole Hamels is making his first start since going on the DL at the beginning of May and is a ripe target for the Cleveland Indians. But in Santana's case, going all the way back to the start of last year, he's had far less success hitting southpaws, with a .305 wOBA and .125 ISO.

Making matters worse is that Santana now bats fifth or sixth in the order, a far cry from when he was leading off to start the season.

At a strong position like first base where you could be taking someone like the red-hot Cody Bellinger, skimping on power upside is awfully dangerous, leaving Santana on the outside looking in.
