Cameron Maybin, OF, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price: $3,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Allowing a .377 wOBA and a .545 slugging percentage to right-handed hitters this year, Detroit Tigers bats are likely to be a popular choice against Josh Tomlin. Both J.D. Martinez and Justin Upton could be pretty chalky plays in the outfield.

Knocking only 5 hits in his last 37 at-bats, the slumping Cameron Maybin is likely to go a bit more unnoticed.

Why You Should Use Him:

One reason to be positive about Maybin is his matchup with the struggling Ariel Miranda. Miranda's posted a13.5% strikeout rate in June, which is his worst of any month this season. He's also allowed a respectable 28.9% hard-hit rate this month, but a 56.9% fly-ball rate has him constantly flirting with danger.

Miranda has been strong at home this year (posting a sterling 2.56 ERA), but he's struggled a bit more on the road (6.56 ERA), and he doesn't get to pitch at Safeco tonight.

Meanwhile, Maybin has been successful against southpaws, posting a 107 wRC+ with a 38.9% hard-hit rate.

Also, if Seattle Mariners catcher Mike Zunino is behind the dish, Maybin reaches almost lock status. Zunino's nabbed only 22.6% of would-be base stealers in 2017, so the speedy leadoff hitter and his 24 thefts could be a major weapon.
