Brandon Nimmo, OF, New York Mets

FanDuel Price: $2,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

After posting a 50.0-plus FanDuel game recently, Mookie Betts should see sky-high ownership rates this evening while playing in Texas. He and his teammates have a strong implied team total of 5.46 runs.

Called up to provide some outfield relief with injuries to teammates Michael Conforto and Curtis Granderson, Brandon Nimmo and his 24 plate appearances aren't likely to get a pile of play.

Why You Should Use Him:

Nimmo's in a great spot tonight, and it all starts with the struggling Tanner Roark.

In 2017, Roark has posted a 4.69 SIERA and June was a downright disaster. Over 6 starts, Roark recorded an 8.31 ERA and a .398 wOBA.

A deeper dive into June shows that lefties are absolutely murdering Roark. They posted a .576 slugging percentage and a .432 wOBA against him, and for the season, lefties have posted a 33.1% hard-hit rate and a 40.0% fly-ball rate.

Nimmo makes for an extremely cheap outfield pivot, and his 16.7% walk rate shows off a keen batting eye with room for major scoring potential this evening.
