Chris Herrmann has been making outstanding contact recently, ranking 5th in average exit velocity and 11th in average batted ball distance among hitters with at least 10 batted balls in the past 15 days.

That hasn't translated into much production -- thus, the low salary -- but he's in a great spot to get that production going today against Cincinnati Reds righty Tim Adleman, who has an ugly 6.11 xFIP against left-handed bats in 2017.
