Paul DeJong, SS, St. Louis Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $2,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Despite losing ace Clayton Kershaw, the Los Angeles Dodgers have been absurdly white-hot thanks to a juggernaut offense, and have become the first team to win 70 games. Corey Seager, who owns a .381 wOBA this season, is likely to be a popular option tonight.

Even though he's been mashing, rookie shortstop Paul DeJong of the St. Louis Cardinals continues to see extremely low ownership rates.

Why You Should Use Him:

DeJong may continue to fly under the radar, but it probably won't be for much longer. Over the last 30 days, he's socked eight homers.

Tonight, he will face Jeff Hoffman, who's been strong in winning six games this year, but a closer examination reveals he may be getting lifted by a strong offense. Against same-sided righties, Hoffman's allowed a 36.4% hard-hit rate and a 51.6% fly-ball rate on the road.

DeJong, meanwhile, obliterates righties. He's posted a 41.4% hard-hit rate and a 45.5% fly-ball rate against them this season.

At a price point under $3,000, DeJong makes for a great pivot at the shortstop position.
