5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 7/28/17
Tyler Moore, 1B, Miami Marlins
FanDuel Price: $2,000
The production has not been there for Tyler Moore this season, hence his being priced at minimum salary. However, there is still plenty of room for optimism, especially while he's this cheap.
His batted-ball profile is very solid, with a 36.6% hard-hit rate, 14.1% soft-hit rate and 47.9% fly-ball rate, and he also ranks top-50 in average exit velocity and top-10 in average batted-ball distance among the 340 hitters with at least 10 batted balls since the All-Star break.
Those numbers are especially encouraging as he draws a plus matchup against Cincinnati Reds righty Sal Romano, who has a 5.03 SIERA through four major league games after posting a poor 4.28 xFIP in 10 Triple-A starts.
