Melky Cabrera has dipped well below $3,000, and it's always worth taking a look at a hitter in the top half of the order at this price.

However, the matchup isn't ideal tonight against J.A. Happ. Facing righties, Happ has a solid 23.0% strikeout rate, and is only allowing a 28.8% hard-hit rate.

Cabrera also has rather average marks against lefties, posting a 32.2% hard-hit rate and .328 wOBA -- nothing that really jumps off the page.

A better way to save money in the outfield would be to check out Jose Martinez or Max Kepler, both of whom are in strong spots.
