Troy Tulowitzki, SS, Toronto Blue Jays

Troy Tulowitzki isn't the star he once was, but he's still an effective shortstop and has fantasy value. However, reports this week indicate Tulo will not be ready for the Toronto Blue Jays' Opening Day lineup as he continues to battle bone spurs in his heel.

That's on top of an ankle injury that ended his season at the end of July, limiting him to 66 games in 2017. In fact, Tulo has had a hard time staying on the field the last few seasons, reaching 140 games played just once in the last eight years. Fantasy owners have noticed, drafting him 33rd overall among shortstops this spring, behind Freddy Galvis of all people.

Our projections don't anticipate a return to glory for the 33-year-old, projecting him to hit .254 with just 15 home runs.
