Chris Davis, 1B, Baltimore Orioles

Price: $2,700

On the other side of that Orioles/Twins matchup, we can look for value. Taking on a new addition to the Twins' rotation in Jake Odorizzi, the O's have a top-five implied total (4.87 runs) on Opening Day.

Chris Davis is coming off a rough 2017 campaign, in which he notched his worst wOBA since 2014, but it wasn't all doom and gloom. His .328 wOBA against right-handed pitchers wasn't awful, and it came with a really strong batted-ball profile: a 9.8% soft-hit rate, 45.1% hard-hit rate and 42.1% fly ball rate.

Despite this, his batting average on balls in play (BABIP) against righties was down to .284, compared to a .318 career-average. If he keeps hitting the ball that well, we can expect an uptick in production.

A matchup with Odorizzi also puts him in a good spot to continue hitting righties well, as Odorizzi posted a career-worst 4.90 SIERA in 2017, with a 5.22 xFIP against left-handed hitters.
