The Los Angeles Dodgers need a starter for Tuesday's contest, and normally a fill-in like Brock Stewart would be an ideal target for DFS purposes. However, a closer look reveals bats like Ian Desmond may not be such a smart play.

Over the last 2 years and in 20 appearances, Stewart has primarily worked as a reliever with only 3 of showings coming in starts, spanning a total of 40 innings pitched. It's tough to extrapolate those reliever-heavy numbers to tonight's spot start, but one thing is for sure -- Stewart has been nasty in righty versus righty matchups.

In 92 total batters faced, he's allowed just a .291 wOBA and 26.5% hard-hit rate to right-handed batters.

After signing a five-year deal with the Colorado Rockies, Desmond has not been at his best in this matchup. Over 549 plate appearances since the start of the 2017 campaign, he has recorded a .283 wOBA, 24.7% strikeout rate, and 21.5% fly-ball rate in this split.
