George Springer, OF, Houston Astros

Price: $4,200

The Houston Astros are the only other team on the main slate with an implied total above 5 (5.16) as they host southpaw Drew Pomeranz and the Boston Red Sox.

Springer has seen his production fall a bit this year, sporting a .359 wOBA through 55 games. Part of that drop is because he has only made 64 plate appearances against lefties, though. In that small sample, he has a terrific .421 wOBA and .321 ISO.

Mashing southpaws is nothing new for him either, with a .416 wOBA and .270 ISO against left-handed hurlers in 228 plate appearances since the start of the 2017 season. Pomeranz has an ugly 4.94 SIERA on the year, with an especially weak 5.09 xFIP against right-handed bats, making this a terrific spot for Springer.
