10 Fantasy Baseball Players to Buy and Sell for Week 16
Buy Gregory Polanco
There are a number of players in baseball this season with low batting averages but much higher on-base percentages, due mainly to their ability to draw walks. Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco is one of those players.
In 348 plate appearances, Polanco is hitting just .235 but has an on-base percentage of .338 with a slugging percentage near .500 (.485). He's suffered from some bad luck (.262 BABIP) but has been productive regardless, with 16 dingers, 51 RBIs and 49 runs scored.
He's been especially hot of late, hitting .333/.436/.718 since June 17th (94 plate appearances) with 8 bombs and 19 RBIs, and it appears his hot streak has coincided with an adjustment made at the dish.
#Pirates RF Gregory Polanco since June 6, when he moved off the plate:
6 HR, 24 RBI, .292/.387/.596 in 107 PA
- Ranks 9th/N.L. in OPS over that span

He's not a marquee name, so he's likely available for the right pitcher in a swap.
