Aaron Hicks, OF, New York Yankees

Aaron Hicks is no longer hitting everything in sight, as his .231 average in July makes clear, and now that his FanDuel salary is settling back into the mid-$3,000s, it might be time to pay up for some exposure to his next hot streak.

After all, the post-hype Yankee breakout is still showing elite plate discipline (19.7% walk rate) and quality contact (43.9% hard-hit rate, 14.6% soft-hit rate) even as his surface production has hit a lull in July.

Granted, the only lefty the Yanks face this week is the tough Blake Snell, so daily players won't have the full advantage of Hicks' outrageous .346 ISO against southpaws this season. Even so, New York otherwise faces some very hittable arms in Week 17, and Hicks sports a respectable .189 ISO against righties.
