Kansas City Royals righty Heath Fillmyer may look like he's having a solid rookie season on the surface, with a 3.13 ERA, but that comes with a far worse 5.25 SIERA and an 11.0% walk rate that pushes up near his 13.6% strikeout rate.

Those struggles are no surprise when we look at his 2018 Triple-A sample, where he posted a 15.4% strikeout and 9.2% walk rate, as well as a 5.75 ERA and 5.55 xFIP over 13 starts.

Curtis Granderson still has plenty of pop against righties, turning a 38.1% hard-hit and 38.3% fly-ball rate into a .333 wOBA and .187 ISO on the year, and Fillmyer isn't likely to slow him down.
