This year's Daniel Descalso is producing unlike any Daniel Descalso we've seen before. His 41.0% hard-hit rate and 45.6% fly-ball rate are both career-highs, and his 15.9% soft-hit rate is a career-low. And until 2017 he hadn't even come close to touching those numbers. His career averages include only a 29.1% hard-hit and 45.6% fly-ball rate.

Yes, this powerful swing has upped his strikeout rate to a career-high 24.4%, but a .360 wOBA and .204 ISO more than make up for it.

The Arizona Diamondbacks boast Tuesday's highest implied total (5.62) in a dreamy matchup with Texas Rangers righty Yovani Gallardo and his 5.52 SIERA. Descalso has no business being this cheap tonight.
