Niko Goodrum, 2B, Detroit Tigers

Daily players might be understandably inclined to avoid the low-octane Detroit Tigers offense altogether, but those looking for cheap production may want to make an exception for Niko Goodrum.

The third-year utility man sports a .625 xSLG that eclipses his already impressive actual mark of .508, yet his low homer total and poor lineup context have kept his FanDuel salary depressed in the low $3,000s.

Goodrum truly seems to be rounding into form, posting major improvements in walk rate and out-of-zone swings in his second full season in the bigs. The 27-year-old Tiger sure looks like a nice under-the-radar play in Week 4, with the Tigers visiting the hitter's havens at Guaranteed Rate Field and Fenway Park.
