Brett Anderson has been a more than respectable streamer option for the majority of the season and gets an above average road start in Miami on Friday.

The Fish have posted the fifth fewest runs at home in the National League and seventh fewest in baseball. Despite being in the top half of batting average at home, Miami ranks in the bottom third in on-base percentage (OBP) and slugging percentage. Those low marks are indicative of Miami’s 1.23 groundball-to-fly ball ratio (G/F), tops in baseball while playing in their home stadium. This helps Anderson, whose 2015 groundball percentage of 67.1% is a career-high and a part of a climbing percentage over the past three seasons. To be frank, his 59.8% in 2012 might as well be 60.0%.

It has been great to see Anderson pitching well and healthy. With his long track record of injuries, take advantage of his production while you can.
