Tommy Milone, Minnesota Twins

Tommy Milone gets to face the Chicago White Sox at home. Therefore, streaming Milone is a solid option.

The White Sox are a bad offensive team that is only slightly above horrible on the road. Their 3.5 runs per road start is in the bottom third of baseball and they are the worst slugging team on the road. The Sox are a free-swinging team that don’t make contact or walk. Chicago’s 72 road walks is good fifth worst in the Majors. To top off their offensive woes, the White Sox are tied for the third highest G/F and have grounded into the third most double plays outside of Chicago.

Milone also gets an okay chance for a win on the road in Milwaukee over the weekend. The Brewers can hit the long ball in Miller Park, but they also strike out a lot. Only San Diego has more strikeouts at home, and the Brewers rank in the bottom third of walks with 87. While Milone boasts a home run-to-fly ball ratio of 14.8%, it is above his career percentage of 10.7. Some regression is due there. If you choose to start him against Milwaukee, cool, and if you choose to avoid him, you’d be justified.
