The legend of Bryce Harper continues to grow.

So far in 2016, Harper has brutalized right-handed pitching, hitting 9 home runs with an immortal .341 ISO and .427 wOBA. Baseballs have no chance against him -- he’s posted a 49.3 fly-ball rate and 38.6 percent hard-hit rate.

However, the most impressive stat may be how much opposing pitchers fear him. Get ready for this: his walk rate versus righties this season is 28.1 percent! So even if he doesn’t collect some extra base hits, he’ll at least get a walk or two for you.

Tonight he faces Bartolo Colon who has allowed 5 home runs and .238 ISO to lefties this year. Colon has held down right-handed batters, limiting them to a 24.6 fly-ball rate and 26.5 hard-hit rate, but the same can’t be said for left-handed hitters -- they’ve enjoyed a 47.7 fly ball rate and 47.1 hard-hit rate.

Harper likely won’t get many opportunities to hit tonight, but if he does, watch out.
