Anthony Rizzo, 1B, Chicago Cubs

FanDuel Price: $3,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Unlike Seager, Anthony Rizzo is normally a popular option. However, Miguel Cabrera, David Ortiz, and Chris Davis all find themselves in more favorable on-paper matchups and with higher implied team totals, which should leave guys like Rizzo, Paul Goldschmidt, and Jose Abreu as interesting underowned tournament options.

Why You Should Use Him:

Rizzo has cooled off at the plate recently, but he is still averaging 13.6 FanDuel points on the season -- the second-most among first basemen on today's slate. Considering that, he seems like quite the discount today, priced as the seventh most-expensive first baseman.

Rizzo and the Cubs will draw a matchup against Michael Wacha today, who is thought of as a quality young pitcher. Wacha took the league by storm but has seen his ERA and SIERA rise every season he's been in the league. His 4.03 ERA this season has finally come to match his SIERA of over 4.00 that he has maintained for two straight seasons.

Wacha certainly isn't a bad pitcher, but he is far from bulletproof. He has given up 16 combined runs in his last three starts, and none of those have come against an offense as intimidating as Chicago's.

Rizzo has hit righties much better in his career, and his previous matchups with Wacha have been no exception. In seven games against the young righty, Rizzo has a .417 batting average and 2 home runs.

He is an excellent play tonight in all formats and offers a bit of salary relief from the top options. Every dollar will count if you're trying to fit in the top-priced pitchers on today's state.
